may your faith give us faith
It's been 6 years since 9/11 and little was said about a day that we should "NEVER FORGET"
Very few rock artists improve or evolve beyond their initial introduction. Generaly speaking the debut album is their finest and ground breaking work, yes they go on to make more but ultimately fade into irrelevancy.
The reason I brought this all up is, this a.m. I loggoned on at work and dropped Bruce Sringsteen's "The Rising" on my PC's MP3 player and began working.
Have you ever heard this CD? This one and "Devils and Dust"
They both illistrate how Springsteen has MASTERED his craft well and why he has NOT lost his relevancy and still reigns as "The BOSS"
Give them both a spin or just a sit back and give em a listen again.
He is just amazing!!!!!!!
"may your faith give us faith
may your hope give us hope
may your love give us love
may your strength give us strength"
Springsteen
